Why regular dental is important

It is important that good dental habits are started from a young age which is why we encourage parents to start bringing their children in once their teeth start to come through. This also establishes a good relationship with their dentist so that they don’t develop dental phobia’s or anxiety.

As children grow and their adult teeth start to appear, their dentist will monitor different areas of development and make sure their oral hygiene is being maintained.

General dentistry is also about informing patients about how their diet is impacting their oral health. Dr Kimberly Ivett often posts articles on her Facebook page which we strongly recommend all patients utilise this free resource of information.
