HOW MUCH FOR VENEERS?

The cost of veneers will vary depending on your individual needs and the number of teeth being treated. We will be able to provide you with a more accurate estimate after an initial consultation to assess your oral health and discuss your cosmetic goals. This consultation will also allow us to determine if veneers are the right option for you.

ARE PORCELAIN VENEERS WHAT I NEED?

Porcelain veneers are a great option for a variety of concerns, including:

  • Chipped or cracked teeth
  • Discolored or stained teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Uneven or misaligned teeth
  • Shortened teeth

If you’re looking to achieve a dramatic smile transformation or simply want to address minor cosmetic flaws, porcelain veneers can be an excellent solution. However, during a consultation, we can discuss your specific goals and recommend the best course of treatment.

COMPOSITE VS PORCELAIN VENEERS

Veneers offer a fantastic way to achieve a bright, beautiful smile. But with two main materials to choose from – composite and porcelain – you might wonder which is right for you. While both can address concerns like chipped teeth, discolouration, or minor gaps, porcelain veneers offer several advantages:

  • Longevity: Porcelain veneers are incredibly durable, lasting up to 15 years with proper care. Composite veneers typically last 5-7 years.
  • Stain Resistance: Porcelain is more resistant to staining from coffee, wine, and other foods, allowing your smile to stay bright and white for longer.
  • Natural Appearance: Porcelain veneers mimic the light-reflecting properties of natural teeth, creating a stunningly realistic look.

While porcelain veneers require a slightly more involved process, their superior durability, stain resistance, and natural look make them a worthwhile investment for many patients seeking a long-lasting, beautiful smile.

HOW STRONG ARE VENEERS AND HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

Porcelain veneers are incredibly strong and durable, thanks to the high-quality materials used. With proper care, they can last for well over a decade – often 10-15 years! This makes them a worthwhile investment in your smile.

WHY DO PEOPLE CHOOSE PORCELAIN VENEERS?

There are many reasons why porcelain veneers are so popular:

  • Natural-looking results: Porcelain mimics the light-reflecting properties of natural teeth, creating a beautiful, translucent appearance that blends seamlessly with your smile.
  • Durability: As mentioned, they are very strong and can withstand normal wear and tear.
  • Stain resistance: Unlike natural teeth, porcelain veneers are highly resistant to staining from coffee, wine, and other foods.

Versatility: Veneers can address a wide range of cosmetic concerns, from minor chips to complete smile makeovers.

HOW MUCH DO PORCELAIN VENEERS COST?

The cost of porcelain veneers depends on several factors, including the number of teeth you’re treating, and the complexity of the case. We recommend scheduling a consultation for a personalised quote. However, at Avant Garde Dentist, we strive to offer competitive pricing and flexible payment options to make your dream smile achievable.
