Expert Cosmetic Panellist for Trophy Skin on TVSN
After working in the Private dental sector since 2005, Dr Kimberly Ivett had a vision for her dream Cosmetic Dental practice. At the beginning of 2016, her vision became a reality and Avant Garde Dental (previously Sydney Boutique Dentistry) was established in Danks Street, Waterloo. Her vision was to combine innovation and luxury while still delivering excellence in Cosmetic and General Dentistry. Years ago she extended her skills to include Cosmetic Injectables which has become a popular treatment among her patients.
Kimberly was born into dentistry with both parents very skilled dentists in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. Completing a Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2005 at the University of Adelaide, Dr Ivett secured an immediate position as a General Dentist and has loved her career ever since. She moved to Sydney in 2009 where her career in Private Practice has continued to flourish.
Her true passion lies with Cosmetic Dentistry and transforming smiles for those who previously have felt embarrassed by their teeth. Although Dental Crowns and Dental Veneers are a key focus, General Dental Care and maintenance is equally as important. Dr Kimberly Ivett is a keen believer in preventative dental care such as regular checkups, professional teeth cleaning and encouraging a healthy/balanced diet. However, when teeth need to be repaired or removed, patients can rely on her gentle expertise to help them.
Dr Kimberly Ivett has become a popular dentist for many patients who have been plagued by dental phobias and anxiety. When conceiving the layout for Avant Garde Dental, she wanted the design to reflect a relaxing and serene environment. Her light-filled, high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows waiting room establish a sense of calmness. She takes the time to get to know her patients and listen to their past experiences so that she can tailor their treatment with minimal stress.
Kimberly has been an active supporter of the Garvan Institute for Medical Research, Birthing Kit Foundation Australia, Red Cross Blood Service. We are also proud supporters of the LGBTI community so expect to see the rainbow flag on display at Mardi Gras. Every 3 months the practice closes so that staff are able to attend the Red Cross together to donate blood. It’s a great cause and we are very excited to be part of it.
